Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist-in-Training

About

Therapy can enable us to find new perspectives on our struggles and help shift our internal stuckness. Our work together can foster deeper clarity and understanding, as well as create lasting change in how you relate to yourself and the world around you, so that you can move towards greater freedom and joy, whatever that looks like for you. I provide a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can bring your pain, rage, anxiety, despair, confusion and numbness and everything in-between.

My work is guided by Humanistic principles, and I also integrate a range of theoretical approaches depending on what an individual needs – this might involve deepening attention to feelings held in the body, exploring family relationship dynamics, or discovering deeply ingrained beliefs that you are barely aware of.

Previously I have worked at the BCPC Low-Cost Counselling Service, and I have experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, mid-life transitions and grief. My background is in art, and I hold a firm belief in the power of creativity and nature to assist us in the process of healing our deepest wounds.

I am registered as a trainee with UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and adhere to their Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.
